F1 FanBoy Makes Himself Available as Guru To McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Press Release) – Feb 06, 2012 – Self-styled F1 guru, F1 FanBoy (also known by the moniker rolf123), today threw his hat into the ring and declared himself available for hire by any of a number of leading F1 teams.

“I’ve decided that now is the time to let the big F1 teams use my services. Sorry, I’m not interested in the minnows, only Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull,” says F1 FanBoy.

Jo Ramirez

Can F1 Fanboy a.k.a. rolf123 be the next guru just like Jo Ramirez?

“These teams need my services. Ferrari used to have Balbir Singh who helped Schumi to his 7 titles. McLaren had Jo Ramirez who brought the best out of Senna. Now they are no longer with their teams so they need me to turn their fortunes around.”

“Red Bull have never had a guru but the kid will lose his spunk one day and bottle it big-time, just like at Canada last year but 10 times worse. But if I had a choice I would prefer to help Lewis come good, he takes criticism and always comes out with the stock young-person-on-a-talent-show line: ‘I’ll learn from it’. Learn from what! Sometimes he needs to grow some balls and stand up for himself. I can give him those balls!”

“As for Ferrari, I belieb in Pelipe. He can do it. He was amazing in 2008 and with the winning car that Ferrari have just created, I know he can win the championship this year, he can do it, he has to belieb it. I will give him that inner belieb.”

F1 Fanboy has issued a “come and get me” message to the team principals in F1 and says he is available at an affordable price.

“It’s not about the money, it’s about helping these guys reach their potential. Lewis needs a daddy, I can be his daddy. His real daddy doesn’t get on with him anymore and Jenson already has two daddies if you include Martin Whitmarsh. It’s only fair that Lewis gets a daddy. As for Felipe, well, I can work the pit wall too. I like Rob Smedley but he has underperformed since 2008. He was great then but sometimes as a daddy you need to be harsh but fair. I can do that too.”

Adrian Newey Runs Out Of Ideas!

Today was the launch of Red Bull’s 2012 challenger the RB8. Well, I am happy to announce that Adrian Newey has run out of ideas! :D

Yes, the car is still skinny at the back but nothing much has changed on it except for the unique nose. No way that the grooved nose is going to give them a huge advantage, it’s all about the rest of the car.

And as we saw in Silverstone last year, without EBD the Red Bull is a leading car but it is not streets ahead of the pack. Newey runs out of ideas and the new Ferrari is much more exciting, what with it’s unique exhausts and front pull-rod suspension as well as beautiful curves.

In fact, Newey has admitted himself that the EBD allowed them to run the high rear and therefore rake angle that made the front wing scrape the ground. So it is a double loss for them, the loss of EBD:

From http://www.formula1.com/news/interviews/2012/2/12987.html

Q: How have you coped with the removal of the exhaust blown diffuser for RB8?
AN: RB7 was designed around the exhaust, this year knowing that the exhaust position from last year would be taken away, we’ve had to go back and look at how we developed the car through the last one and two years with the side exit exhaust and try and, if you like, make sure that the routes we had taken that were only suitable for that exhaust position we now had to re-evaluate. Probably one of the key things there is the rear ride height. The exhaust allowed us to run a high rear ride height, it’s much more difficult without that to sustain a high rear height so we have to go back down and have to redevelop the car around that lower ride height.

And don’t forget, McLaren and Ferrari are well-known for being able to “squeeze the lemon” and make good progress during the season. Red Bull try to hang onto a major advantage at season-start, something they won’t have this year.

Too bad Kettel, I guess we won’t be seeing much of your finger this year! :D

Gay Drivers In F1

Who are the gay drivers in F1?

Please note that I am only theorising here. I love all people, be they gay, straight, transgender, bi-gender or whatever they are and were born like. For the comments below, I will not tolerate any homophobia. We are all different and must accept each other as so and live together in the harmony.

It stands to reason that there must be at least one or two drivers in F1 who are gay. Even though one might argue that the sport attracts significantly more heterosexuals, there is no way it could be an “exclusive” club. Women have driven in F1 before and do so in top level motorsport in the USA. Even though motorsport is a caucasian dominated sport, all kinds of racial minorities have raced.

In my opinion, there are three drivers who could well be gay.

The most obvious case is Adrian Sutil. He is a musician and likes some of the finer things in life. When he crashed his car at Canada in 2008, one could observe potentially gay mannerisms, see the video below.

Before you accuse me of playing to stereotypes, you should know that studies have been done to see if people could be differentiated between heterosexual and homosexual going on observations alone. Read this. It is scientifically proven that your face, your speech and the way that you walk can show your sexuality. In this sense, Sutil qualifies on all three counts. His impeccable style and notoriety for openly crying in public on occasion make him almost a dead cert – the day he comes out will probably be the biggest non-news event ever.

Many have also said that Nico Rosberg could be gay. I am not so sure about it. He looks handsome but I think he could possibly be asexual and just not interested in anyone at all, no matter what their gender. I would say the same for Sebastian Vettel too.

Another strong candidate might be Lewis Hamilton. But what of his relationship with Nicole Scherzinger, I hear you say? I have a theory as to why his unwillingness to have kids led to their break-up. In my view, Hamilton did not want kids naturally with a woman because it would be the ultimate betrayal of himself as confirmation of being a hetero man. Perhaps he may opt for a surrogate-born child himself one day (just like Cristiano Ronaldo, someone who I think is also gay).

It is interesting to note that Sutil was publically unhappy about Hamilton recently not turning up to testify at his GBH trial in Germany, he even called him a coward after crying during his court case. These two were apparently really good buddies over the last few years. They were teammates in F3 and considered closest friends in the paddock. Then suddenly this huge betrayal. Methinks that their “friendship” could actually have been something much more, an intimate relationship behind closed doors and illicit affairs in one another’s F1 paddock motorhomes or 5-star hotels. I, for one, would like to see them get back together one day, they sure make for a cute couple.

Please Hamilton, I begging you, please come out of the closet this year. It will clear your mind and unload your mental baggage and you will be back to winning ways. If you want, I can even come on board to help you and be your resident McLaren guru, just like Jo Ramirez used to do.

Anyway, what do you think? Leave a comment.

Welcome To F1 Fanboy!

Welcome! I’m a fanboy a.k.a. rolf123! Alonso, Massa and Schumi are my favourite drivers.

Yesterday the new 2012 Ferrari was unveiled. It has a gorgeous ass but a hooked nose – a bit like Steffi Graf but that’s OK. As long as she’s fast I don’t care.

So who’s gonna win this year? Well Massa of course. This is his year! I belieb in Puhleepe, he can do it. Give him a great car and he will dominate everyone else just like he did in 2008. I think Ferrari have done it and the car will be winnable from the beginning. I will put a bet on it probably quite soon, he’s 80-1 at Betfair – amazing odds! They will be proven wrong! Even Massa already knows it, he said recently “2012 is going to be the victory year. I really believe in my skills and this car.” See, I told you! :)

Second place will be Alonso or Schumi, I know it. I can feel it. They are the next best drivers after Massa. And they are all bestest of friends too.

Not sure about Lewith, maybe he will come 4th. I used to hate him but now I like him a bit more, he needs to stop sulking though. Good that he got rid of his girlfriend. I have a strong feeling he might possibly be gay. Good for him, if he can come out and gain back his self-respect, stop sulking and stop apologising when he doesn’t need to, stand up for himself at interviews and stop towing the BS Mclaren corporate line, then surely he can become fast again and beat his teammate, Jens.

Oh what about Jens? I think he’s amazing. Really cool. I don’t know what’s gonna happen. Can he win WDC again? Maybe, maybe not. Only if McLaren is on another planet then we can see another Senna-Prost type battle like in the late 80s. Otherwise it ain’t gonna happen.

What about Kettel? I don’t like him. His finger annoys me. Maybe he will lose his spunk and become slow this year, I think he’s only fast because of his age, I dunno. As usual, I am hoping for very safe tyre blowout or other mechanical failure to ruin his races. Incredibly, the one race I didn’t predict it last year and then it happened at Abu Dhabi!

So who do you think is gonna win the F1 WDC this year? Leave a comment and let me know. See you on Autosport Forum and especially the Live Forum!
